Shelf life
How long a packed product keeps its properties in storage.
Shelf life
For a dry towel, shelf life is mostly about the pack rather than the web: moisture pickup, compression set, and the condition of the film or box. For a pre-moistened product it is a different question entirely, and it belongs to the converter who wets and seals it.
A stated shelf life is only meaningful with the storage conditions attached, because heat and humidity in a warehouse do more to a carton than time does.
