Minimum order quantity
The smallest quantity a production run can be scheduled at.
MOQ
An MOQ is not a negotiating position; it is the point at which setup time, print plates, film and packing labour stop being absorbed by the supplier. It therefore moves with the amount of customisation: a stock format and a printed private-label pack rarely share the same minimum.
The useful question is not "what is your MOQ" but "what is the MOQ for this exact configuration", followed by what changes it — a shared print run, a different film, or a larger carton.
