Travel and amenity kits
A travel towel is judged twice: once as a compact object in a kit, and once as a towel in a hotel bathroom far from home.
Compressed and folded formats exist to solve a packing problem, and the packing problem dictates most of the specification. The compressed coin or tablet must expand predictably in water, and the expanded sheet must be usable — which is a different property from being soft in the hand.
Kits also carry a documentation burden that loose towels do not: the towel sits beside other items in a sealed pack, so composition, packing and language on the insert all have to be settled together.
Common mistakes
- Specifying compression before testing expansion
- Printing kit artwork before the insert languages are fixed

Send us the specification you are working to.
A target weight, a pack format, a market and an annual volume is enough to start. A sample of what you use today is better.
