Cost per service, not cost per carton

Two cartons at the same price can differ by a third in what they cost per client. The arithmetic is short.

Divide by usable pieces, not by sheets

Start with the pack count, multiply by cartons, and then subtract what the staff will not use: half-sheets cut for small jobs, towels rejected for a defect, sheets that pull out two at a time and get discarded.

The result is a usable-piece count, and it is almost always lower than the nominal count on the carton.

Add the handling time

A format that has to be re-folded at the basin costs seconds per client. Over a month that is a real line, and it is the reason a slightly more expensive dispenser-ready pack often wins.

When we quote a salon, we ask for the monthly client count and the pack format the staff actually want. The two together produce a number that survives a busy Saturday.

Send us the specification you are working to.

A target weight, a pack format, a market and an annual volume is enough to start. A sample of what you use today is better.
