Selling towels into Korea

Based on our conversations with Korean distributors, the range matters as much as the towel.

A range question, not a single-SKU question

Korean distributors often serve salons, spas and online retail at the same time, so the first conversation tends to be about which two or three SKUs cover the customer base rather than about one perfect towel.

That makes the range sheet the most useful document to bring: sizes, basis weights, pack counts and the price step between them.

Composition and pack language come up early

Material composition by percentage, and whether the pack will carry Korean text, are usually settled before the first sample is approved — because both change the cost base rather than the price.

Where a product may later be pre-wetted, say so at this stage. It changes what can be declared and, in some markets, whether the product can be sold to consumers at all.

Send us the specification you are working to.

A target weight, a pack format, a market and an annual volume is enough to start. A sample of what you use today is better.
